Members of the SHI Europe team joined organisations from across the Dutch–Japanese business community at the DUJAT December Dinner 2025 in Amsterdam on 8 December 2025.
The event also marked the 10th edition of the Deshima Netherlands Awards, organised by DUJAT and the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency.
SHI Europe was named a finalist in the “Newcomer” category, recognition of our growing presence in the Netherlands and our commitment to building strong partnerships here.
Joris Blommaerts, General Manager, Human Resources, SHI Europe, said: “We’re pleased to have been recognised in the newcomer category. It’s a real encouragement for our teams as we continue to strengthen our headquarters in the Netherlands and investment throughout Europe. Our thanks go to DUJAT for the nomination and for bringing so many organisations together.”
Owain Betts, Corporate Communications Manager, SHI Europe, added: “Japan and the Netherlands have a long, close relationship, and it’s one we’re proud to be part of. Events like the DUJAT dinner show how that partnership continues to grow. We’re grateful to the DUJAT team for the support they provide, and to Amsterdam and Amstelveen for hosting such a strong business community.”
